Melissa has been a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec since 2007. She initially began her private practice while pursuing her doctoral studies, which she completed in 2010 at the Université du Québec à Montréal. During her internships, she worked clinically in psychiatry with clients experiencing anxiety disorders, and in CLSC (Local Community Service Centers) with clients affected by HIV.

Early in her career, she taught psychology at the college level before focusing on clinical work by joining a frontline adult mental health team in a CLSC. In this role, she gained extensive experience in assessment, individual and group intervention, consultation, and supervision with a diverse clientele. She then worked as a psychoanalyst within a law enforcement organization before dedicating herself entirely to psychotherapy in private practice.

Melissa favors a personalized approach, adapting her interventions to meet the needs of her clients. She promotes authentic interventions characterized by exchange, openness, and the practical application of acquired skills. Her interventions are based on a cognitive-behavioral theoretical framework, particularly drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

In her consultations, she sees adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, relational difficulties, addiction, or dissatisfaction in various areas of life. She also works with individuals seeking exploratory processes to better understand themselves and align their actions with their values.

Melissa prefers in-person sessions but also offers telepractice consultations based on her clients' needs.
