She is also certified in using the Mulligan technique for injuries to the extremities. In conjunction, she incorporates manual therapy, myofascial release and structural myofascial therapy in all her treatments.
Wendy is also certified in the prevention and management of acute concussions and post-concussion syndromes. Through the Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) protocol, she is able to safely guide an athlete back on the field, while treating and managing concussion symptoms.
Sports-wise, Wendy is specialized in doing running assessments and treating all running-related injuries. She also works with Sheila Parkins School of Dance, using annual screenings for their dancers.
Wendy is a firm believer that regular physical activity, a balanced diet and a relaxed state of mind are three main ingredients to healthy living. Through physiotherapy, she can help any individual return to meaningful activities, work or sports.
In her spare time, Wendy likes to do high-intensity interval training (HIIT), running, reading and writing. She also likes to attend conferences on musculoskeletal conditions and running to further her knowledge in these areas and thus become a better practitioner.
She is passionate about physiotherapy and will make sure you can return to activities that inspire the same passion in YOU.
