Owner and Physiotherapist
In 2015, Sarah obtained a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Montreal. Beforehand, she had completed a bachelor’s degree while cheerleading for the University of Montreal’s Carabins. During her studies, she had the opportunity to cover the university's cheerleading team as a physio student for 2 years. She also completed her training as a sports first responder in May 2015 and was recertified in January of 2018. Sarah joined the team at Action Sport Physio Saint-Eustache / Deux-Montagnes in March 2016, from the moment it opened its doors, and became a co-owner of the clinic in December 2017.
Sarah has always been passionate about gymnastics and has worked as a coach from 2006 to 2017. She has coached the female and male competitive sectors and is a certified level 2 coach. It is thus with great pleasure that she will use her experience and knowledge of the biomechanics of acrobatic sports to understand your injury mechanisms in order to determine the appropriate physiotherapy treatment to help you with your musculoskeletal problems.
Sarah has perfected her physiotherapy journey by completing her manual therapy level 1 and level 2 lower quadrant training from the l’Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique. She also completed training in dynamic analysis of the shoulder as well as the first level of vestibular rehabilitation given by the OPPQ. Sarah currently treats athletes in football, soccer, baseball, gymnastics, and cheerleading mainly, but also in other sports occasionally.
