Rachel Desjardins graduated from McGill University in 2015 with a M.Sc. Applied in Physical Therapy. She also completed a B.Sc. in Rehabilitation Science in 2013 and a B.Sc. in Kinesiology in 2010, both at McGill University. She is a member of the “Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec” as well as the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Throughout her experience, Rachel has treated clients of all ages in various domains of physiotherapy, such as orthopedics, cardio respiratory and neurological rehabilitation. She truly believes that treating her clients using a holistic approach is essential to the recovery process. In addition, she places great importance on leading an active and healthy lifestyle. She is passionate about furthering her knowledge in physiotherapy in order to be able to provide the best possible treatment to her clients. Rachel has completed the following courses: McKenzie Level A (lumbar spine) and Level B (cervical spine), manual therapy level 1, APTEI Advanced Lower Extremity Complex, APTEI Advanced Cervico-Thoracic Complex, as well as an introductory course to problems of the TMJ (jaw).
Aside from practicing physiotherapy, Rachel enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through kick boxing, and she additionally enjoys reading and singing.
