Perineal Re-education Physiotherapist
Marie-Hélène Bouillon graduated from Laval University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Ordre professionel de physiothérapie du Québec. At the beginning of her career, she rapidly acquired the taste for more global involvement with her clientele. Global Postural Re-adaptation has become her favourite type of intervention after she completed her training in 2003.
After a few years of private practice and the birth of her first child, she discovered another interest - perineal re-education. She started practicing this approach after completing her formation in 2006. She likes to help women of all ages afflicted by urinary incontinence and who often do not know where to go for help. It is a problem that is often underestimated and that can severely affect quality of life. Her need for more knowledge and her sense of perfection have led her to start her master's degree at the University of Montreal in perineal and pelvic re-education.
When she is not at the clinic, you can find her spending time with her two children or doing outdoor activities such as biking and skiing.
