Biography
Cory has a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Concordia University and a master's degree in physiotherapy from McGill University. He is a licensed member of l'Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
Cory was first introduced to the field of physical therapy as a patient recovering from a torn ACL (anterior cruciate ligament). His experience led him to became intrigued with the profession because of the vital role that his physiotherapist played in helping him return to his regular life.
During his studies, Cory completed clinical internships in both public and private settings that allowed him to work with variety of patients and obtain experience in orthopedic, neurological and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation.
Cory firmly believes in a client centered approach and the importance of developing strong professional relationships with his patients. He is committed to actively listening and clearly communicating with his patients so that he may address their specific goals and concerns to develop a treatment plan that will yield optimal results.
Cory is also a strong supporter of continued education following graduation. He is eager to obtain training in post education courses that teach manual therapy, Mackenzie and Mulligan techniques.
Cory has always been very passionate about sports. Throughout the years he's been a member of multiple sports teams including football and rugby; and individually practiced golf, snowboarding and mixed martial arts. Some of his other interests include history and travelling.
Cory has vowed to give full dedication to his patients. He is determined to provide quality services that are aimed at helping clients return to a life that they can enjoy once more.
