Megan completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy at McGill University and is now a member of l’Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ).
Throughout her studies, Megan gained clinical experience treating a wide variety of client populations including orthopedic and neurological cases in acute care, rehabilitation, and home care settings as well as children with sensory, motor, and behavioural difficulties. During her education, she completed complementary classes in global health and in enabling upper extremity function. At McGill, Megan also volunteered as a student therapist for the Varsity Soccer team where she was responsible for sport tapings, massage, and on-site first aid.
Using a holistic and client-centered approach, Megan’s aim is to work together with her clients to set goals and promote function and independence in daily tasks in all spheres of their lives. She believes in continuously providing her clients with the “just-right” challenge to gradually improve performance and functional capacity.
Outside of her work as an occupational therapist, Megan enjoys staying active through her participation in soccer, karate, and kickboxing.
