Jaclyn holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McGill University. She graduated with the highest academic and clinical standing of her class in the Professional Master’s Program. With Jaclyn, you can expect professional and efficient treatment sessions that promote a timely recovery. She received the award for Employee of the Year in 2018 at Action Sport Physio West Island for her positivity, kindness, and dedication to helping her patients.

During her studies, Jaclyn was a teaching assistant for the musculoskeletal anatomy course at McGill. Her in-depth understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics contributes to her physiotherapy approach. Jaclyn focuses on clearly explaining each patient’s condition, and determining the underlying cause to prevent recurrence. She believes in empowering her patients to be active participants in their recovery by providing pain management strategies, and prescribing individualized home exercise programs.

Jaclyn is dedicated to her own professional growth in order to provide the best possible care to her patients. She passed the written and practical exams to become certified in the McKenzie Method, a scientifically proven mechanical assessment process that identifies the best treatment solution for back, neck and extremity problems. Jaclyn is also trained in the Mulligan Concept, and uses Mobilization with Movement techniques to reduce pain and improve range of motion. She has additionally completed manual therapy courses, Jeremy Lewis’ Shoulder course, and is a certified Sports First Responder.

Jaclyn has worked with Elite AAA soccer teams, and was a member of the medical staff for the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. She has also volunteered as a physiotherapist for cyclists participating in the Ride To Conquer Cancer.

In her spare time, Jaclyn stays active by playing team sports and participates in high intensity interval training workouts. She currently plays ringette and soccer, but also enjoys softball, swimming, and golf. She holds a National Coaching Certification and has coached ringette in the West Island community for several years.
