Physiotherapist and Owner
Frédérick Lafrance-Tanguay completed his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2012. He then pursued a master's degree, focusing on running as a research subject. In 2013, following his graduation, he became a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec and joined the Action Sport Physio St-Leonard team. In 2016, he became the owner of Action Sport Physio Maisonneuve-Rosemont, located in the heart of Montreal at 2815 Sherbrooke Street West.
In order to keep his knowledge up to date, Frédérick is currently pursuing his training in manual therapy with the Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique (AQPMO) in addition to taking courses on motor control. He has also completed and received his certification for the CCM program (Complete Concussion Management) and the ReACT concussion program. Thanks to these certifications, he is specialised in the post-concussion care and management of athletes, both young and adults, who have suffered a concussion. Lastly, he is part of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation program team.
