Emmanuelle obtained her bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from the Université de Montréal in 2004. Since then, she has been working in a private clinic with a musculoskeletal clientele. At the beginning of her career, Emmanuelle was a therapist for many football teams at the school and university level, with the national freestyle ski team from 2004 to 2007 and for the Canadian junior men's gymnastics team in 2005.
From an academic point of view, she has taken the postgraduate manual therapy courses (AQPME) quadrant 1 to 3 and has also completed several complementary training courses in muscle energy techniques, myofascial relaxation and running evaluation (runner's clinic).
Emmanuelle then obtained her OPPQ certificate for dry needle physiotherapy puncture (PPAS) in 2013.
In 2016, she obtained a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Chronic Pain Management from McGill University.
She is also a certified yoga physiotherapist for people suffering from chronic pain (Pain Care Yoga) since 2017 and trained in mindfulness meditation as part of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program.
In 2017, she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course (RYT-200) and will complete an additional 300-hour training course in 2019 (RYT-500).
Emmanuelle holds a certification in Medical Therapeutic Yoga, a training program reserved for health professionals for the integration of yoga into the health field offered in the United States by the Professional Yoga Therapy Institute (PYTI).
