Anne Bégin Anne graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Public Communication, specifically in public relations and marketing. She was Account Manager for a registrar in the quality systems certification field for four years. The three previous years spent working as Senior Major Accounts Coordinator for a marketing agency greatly helps her do the work she loves on a daily basis. Anne is very sociable, always positive and smiling. She loves running, golf, bicycling and walking. Downhill skiing is her favourite winter activity. |

Urbano Ciccarelli Urbano graduated from McGill University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science (physiology), and in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He is presently the Head Physiotherapist of the St-Bruno branch of Action Sport Physio and Vice President of Operations of Action Sport Medicine International, and one of its three founding members. In the field of sports therapy, he has worked as consulting therapist for the Machine de Montréal football club, as well as the Montreal Dragons basketball club. In 1994, he was the Director of the medical team for the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Montreal. He was more recently involved with the Montreal Alouettes football team as therapist and assistant medical coordinator for the 1996-1997 season. |

Lynne Cousineau Lynne worked as a consultant for the Action Sport Physio clinics and the franchisor for 10 years, and is now part of the Action Sport Medicine International team since January 2007. She obtained her secretarial diploma, and then went on to study computer technology, accounting and administration at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario. When she is not at work, Lynne loves to do arts and crafts, particularly knitting. Since she discovered golf three years ago, you can be sure to find Lynne on the course whenever possible. In the winter, she loves to go to arenas and cheer for her favourite hockey teams. |

Patrick Handfield Patrick Handfield graduated from McGill University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 1987, he completed his Canadian Athletic Therapy Certification. He is a recognized Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist. He is a member of the "Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec", the Canadian Physiotherapist Association and he is an active member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association as well as a member of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. Since graduation Patrick has continued to demonstrate an interest in Physical and Sports Medicine. He is presently the Head Therapist and Coordinator of the Health Services Department at Cirque du Soleil and the National Circus School, as well as Head Physiotherapist of the Downtown branch of Action Sport Physio and Vice President of Action Sport Medicine International. He has attended various Provincial, National and International athletic events including the 2000 Sydney Olympics, 1996 Atlanta Olympics, 1992 Paralympics Games in Barcelona, the 1988-89, 91-92 World Junior Hockey Championships in Anchorage and Germany, the 1989 Francophone Games (as Head Therapist), the 1991 World Cup of Gymnastics in Montréal, the 1987 Junior Pan-AM Track and Field Championship in Jamaica, the 1991 Canada Games. He is medical coordinator of the Canadian Track and Field Championships, a position he assumed in 1990. He acts as a consultant with the National Federations for Hockey, Gymnastics and Track & Field. Always current on various topics in the field of Physical and Sports Medicine, Patrick has taken additional professional training in Manual Therapy, Muscle Energy, Myofascial Release, Biomechanics of the lumbar spine and pelvis, Management of cervical headaches, and others. As well, he takes great interest in exploring new techniques with his co-workers from other countries as he travels on special assignments with different sporting organizations. Away from his practice you will find him running, cycling, playing tennis, hiking or playing beach volleyball. During the winter months, he spends some of his time skiing but his passion will always be our national sport: hockey. |

Lyne Ménard Lyne graduated from l'UQAM in 1992 with a BAA in Human Resources. She has mainly worked in the Health field for many years. She has made it her goal to stand out and offer quality service to the clients in the HR field. Her children are her priority and she is implicated in all of their activities. She likes to travel, play softball, bicycle and go camping and, of course, downhill ski with her children. |

Alain Scheldeman Alain graduated from McGill University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. During the same year he completed his Canadian Athletic Therapy Certification. He is a licensed Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist. He is a member of l’Ordre des professionnels de la physiothérapie du Québec and the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. Alain also teaches at the University of Montreal in the Department of Physical Therapy. Since graduation Alain has continued to demonstrate an interest in physical and sports medicine. He has attended various athletic events including the 1990, 1992 and 1996 World Junior Figure Skating Championships and the 1997 World Figure Skating Championship in Lausanne, Switzerland. With a particular interest in figure skating, he was the Coordinating Therapist of the Canadian Figure Skating Association for more than 5 years. He also participated in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. From 1984 to 1987, Alain was head therapist for the Montreal Alouettes/Concords football team. With the return of Professional football in Montreal in 1996, Alain once again coordinated the sports medicine services for the Montreal Alouettes Football Club until 2000. In 2002 he became the medical coordinator for the Montreal Impact soccer team. Always remaining current on various topics in the field of physical and sports medicine, Alain has taken additional professional training in Manual Therapy, Acupuncture, Muscle Energy, Myofascial Release, Patella Femoral Disorders according to McConnell Approach and McKenzie Back and Neck Care Techniques. Alain is one of the three founders of the Action Sport Physio network. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Action Sport Medicine International, the franchisor and Vice-President of Public Relations. He is responsible for the development of the network. Outside of his professional activities, he enjoys playing tennis, hockey and golf. During the summer months, if he is not in the clinic or at the franchisor’s office, you will find him participating in outdoor sports. |
