Sébastien Dion

Sébastien has a bachelor and master's degree in physiotherapy from University of Montreal.  He is a member of the OPPQ (Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec). Prior to this, he had completed a year in kinesiology at University of Montreal.

While attending school, Sébastien was swimming competitively for many years as well as coaching. This has contributed to his extended comprehension of aquatic biomechanics as he trained swimmers of all ages and levels. This experience gave him an expertise in hydrotherapy (use of water exercises in a personalised treatment plan).

Sébastien's treatment philosophy is based on empathy and careful listening in a desire to offer the best possible care. He enjoys working closely with his patients in an effort to reach optimal results. He plans to widen his physiotherapy knowledge in areas such as biomechanics of the shoulder, manual therapy, running evaluation, running injuries and vestibular rehabilitation.

From a young age, physical activity has been very important for Sébastien. He has played basketball and soccer, practiced judo, speed skating, swimming and running, with his focus being on swimming. He has discovered a passion for running and plans to run his first marathon in 2017.
