Biography

M.Sc. P.T.

Anick received her master's degree in physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 2014. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and the Canadian and Quebec Physiotherapy Association (CPA and QPA).

She has been practicing since the beginning of her career in a private clinic with a wide variety of clients and has developed an interest in both sports injuries and the management of chronic and/or persistent pain.

Since December 2019, she has been able to use dry needling in physiotherapy, in addition to other treatment techniques, to achieve effective muscle release and decrease inflammation.

Anick has taken numerous continuing education courses since the beginning of her career to further her knowledge and expand her skill set. Among them, advanced vestibular rehabilitation, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), treatment and prevention of running injuries, concussion management (CCMI) and advanced manual therapy (AQPMA).

In her career at Action Sport Physio she has been involved in covering triathlon (IRONMAN) and running events. She also contributed to the screening of gymnastics centers in the region.

A very athletic and adventurous person herself, she has suffered several musculoskeletal injuries that have heightened her level of understanding of the physical and psychological difficulties that can be encountered when an injury prevents us from functioning, working and practicing the activities we love. It is with great empathy that she will be able to guide and support you in your rehabilitation process!
