Michaël originates from Clermont-Ferrand, France. As a youth he lived all over the world such as South America, Ireland, London as well as France. He played volleyball rather intensively, which led to sports medicine, notably osteopathy, giving way to a new vocation for this line of work. He then joined the Centre International d’Ostéopathie (CIDO) of Saint-Étienne originating from the famous English school, the British School of Osteopathy, studying full time, he thereafter obtained his diploma in Osteopathy (D .O. M. Sc.).
His professional experiences brought him to provide care to high level athletes (former therapist to the professional TOP 14 and XIII rugby teams from France: the USAP and the Dragons Catalans) and to heighten his awareness to osteopathic care to pregnant women and to new-borns (neonatal care at the Notre-Dame de l’Espérance). Therefore, he practises a multidisciplinary and complete osteopathic care letting him take care of different types of patients and problems.
Michaël is very passionate about art and culture, which opened doors in unexpected ways in his career, notably in the areas of dance and music, their teachings and the care given to artists (Conservatoire Nationale de Musique et de Danse de Perpignan).
Providing care to all is very close to his heart. This is how he learned about La Maison Bleue, a non-profit and charitable organisation offering social prenatal services to pregnant women and their families living in difficult situations, and for which he provided osteopathic service free of charge here in Montreal.
