Maureen combines her fifteen years of clinical experience in Osteopathy, Phycology, and her own journey to take a genuinely holistic approach to complete mind, body, and soul healing.
By using Osteopathy as a gentler, yet medically based and highly effective manual therapy approach to help you become pain free, Maureen is skilled at finding the deeper, original cause of your discomfort, whether it be from a sports injury, poor posture and lifestyle choices, gastro-intestinal sensitivities causing back pain or headaches, concussions from motor vehicle accidents, or a long history of injury and joint degeneration, Maureen has treated them all.
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Maureen completed her undergraduate studies at McGill University in 1989 majoring in Psychology and her Osteopathic training in 2003 with the College d’Osteopathie du Quebec a Montreal.
Maureen has been an accredited member in good standing in several provinces across Canada, as well as overseas. She is currently a member of the Society of Osteopaths of Canada, and has practiced in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia. She was accredited as a Primary Care Practitioner in Australia in 2008, and partial accreditation with the GOsC(UK) in 2010. She was the first Canadian trained Osteopath to work in Singapore in South East Asia. She is trained to interpret all medical imaging including radiology and MRI’s, but cannot legally diagnose or requisition such imaging in Canada. Maureen is also the Founder ad Educational Director or the Center for Continuing Education of Osteopathy and teaches continuing education courses regularly. She has a fondness for treating Women’s Health Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and challenging Cranial Cases, but is adept at helping all who seek her healing hands.
