Owner and Physiotherapist
Marie-Josée Morneau graduated with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 1996. Prior to her entry in the Physiotherapy program, she had studied Physical Education, which broadened her knowledge on physical activity, training methods, etc. Furthermore, she has obtained her national trainers' certification (level I) for many sports such as soccer, volleyball and Judo (level II). Marie-Josée continues to perfect her education in manual therapy, which allows the specific treatment of articulations.
Black belt 4th dan in Judo, she was Canadian Champion 4 times, which gave her the opportunity to be a member of the Olympic team for the Atlanta Games in 1996. In 2006, she was introduced to the Judo Hall of Fame. As a physiotherapist, she is very much involved in covering sports events. Since October 2003, she is the owner of the Boucherville clinic, which opened in 1998. Marie-Josée opened a new service center in Longueuil in 2004.
