Originally from Liverpool in England, Marc has been in practice for over twenty years having graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1995 with an honours degree in osteopathy. He is currently studying for a research Master’s degree in Clinical Science.
Marc is now enjoying his second stint at the clinic having been with us in the past and has previously practiced in the UK as well as in both Calgary and Vancouver. In the latter case, he was a founding director of the society Osteopathy BC.
Treatments with Marc involve traditional osteopathic manipulation in combination with the latest explanations of pain science, which, perhaps surprisingly, tell us that pain and damage are not actually related to each other. This opens numerous possibilities for pain management and a return to activities that were previously thought not possible.
Outside of the clinic Marc is a former UK top 50 100m track sprinter and is now a tennis player having played senior age group competitions in the UK clay court championships at Bournemouth and the grass court championships at Wimbledon, as well as representing his county.
