Julie received a bachelor's degree in physical education from the Quebec University in Montreal in 1992 and has been working as a massage therapist at the clinic since 2005.
With a diploma from the Guijek School, she specialises in massage therapy and deep tissue massage. Attentive to her clients's needs, Julie adapts her manoeuvres in order to respect the muscle tissues. For clients who enjoy a more in depth massage, deep tissue is an interesting choice because it is done with fists and elbows. The most important for Julie is to respect the muscles because with experience, results are more conclusive.
She is convinced that massage therapy helps to restructure the body and to let go of unnecessary stress. In the event of professional exhaustion, a massage aimed at relaxation would become a therapeutic treatment. She also has massage training in the academic sector: she begins this fall a massage therapy project with autistic children.
Among her sports accomplishments, Julie holds a 4th dan belt in Shotokan Karate and has been practicing this martial art for over 20 years.
She participated in 7 Canadian championships and knows well how much a body can take and endure.
