Jaclyn Kelly

M.Sc. P.T.

Jaclyn holds a master’s degree in physiotherapy and a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation science, majoring in physical therapy, from McGill University. She is a member of l’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

During her studies, Jaclyn completed clinical placements at the Jewish General, Montreal General and Jewish Rehabilitation Hospitals, as well as Action Sport Physio. Through her work with diverse patient populations, she gained experience in the fields of orthopaedics, oncology, neurology, and cardio-respiratory rehabilitation. Jaclyn’s passion for sports medicine and a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries led her to join the team at Action Sport Physio West Island.

Jaclyn was a teaching assistant for the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill during her studies. Her in-depth understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics contributes to her physiotherapy approach. Jaclyn is focused on treating not only her patients’ symptoms, but determining the underlying cause to address the problem holistically and prevent reoccurrence.

Jaclyn is dedicated to her own professional growth and development in order to provide the best possible care to her patients. She is committed to pursuing her education through post-graduate courses, especially in the fields of Manual Therapy and Sports Physiotherapy. Jaclyn is a certified Sport First Responder and looks forward to working with sports teams in the community.

In her spare time, Jaclyn stays active by playing several sports. She has played ringette and soccer at a competitive level, and also enjoys softball, swimming, and golf. She holds a National Coaching Certification in Community Sport Initiation and has coached ringette within the West Island for several years.
