Fawzi Charaan holds a Master in Physiotherapy (M.Sc. P.T.) from Université de Montréal and he’s a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ). He also holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) from Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières. This allows him to have a wide expertise in musculoskeletal injuries, particularly regarding the spine. Moreover, he is one of the few physiotherapists in Québec who holds a certificate in Spinal and joints manipulation delivered by the OPPQ.
In his clinical practice, Fawzi uses a diversified treatment approach (manual therapy, myofascial release technics and physical rehabilitation) and encourages patient participation through prescribed exercises and changes in daily habits. His goal is to help patients regain optimal health and physical well-being. In 2008, he participated in a humanitarian mission in Bolivia to offer his care to underprivileged populations and to educate them on the importance of adopting healthy life style.
During his spare time, Fawzi likes to train and go running. He regularly attends different seminars and conventions related to musculoskeletal issues to further develop his skills. He also occasionally covers a variety of sporting events (Teakwondo and Karate championships, Mont-Tremblant Ironman, Montreal Oasis Marathon).
