Elise graduated from the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques (CEO) in 1998. This training is in addition to a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 1981. She is a member in good standing of the Association des Diplômés en Ostéopathie.
During her many years of practice as a physiotherapist and osteopath, she had the opportunity to work in hospitals, in acute care and in rehabilitation. However, it is thanks to her several years in private practice and the numerous post-graduate courses she took that she furthered her education in orthopedics.
Fascinated by the world of sports, she started as a therapist with the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal football team. Thereafter, she had the opportunity to volunteer for national and international championships (trampoline, diving, athletics, badminton). She used her expertise as an osteopath to treat world-class athletes in alpine skiing, freestyle skiing and figure skating.
Her training in osteopathy has also enabled her to treat many babies and children with problems ranging from ear infections, constipation, congenital torticollis and neuromotor development disorders.
As an athlete, she took part in several triathlons. She still has a passion for alpine skiing and stays in shape all year round with cycling, swimming and jogging. Her two very active boys allow her to perfect her knowledge in extreme sports.
Her passion to support her customers in their desire to find their own regulatory health mechanisms continues to grow each year.
