Anthony Teoli graduated from McGill University in 2016 with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. He is a member in good standing of l’Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec, as well as a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Anthony is actively involved on a national scale as a committee member on the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Throughout his clinical placements, Anthony gained experience working with diverse populations such as oncology patients, patients with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, stroke and cerebral palsy and, lastly, patients with musculoskeletal injuries in both hospital and private clinic settings.
Anthony demonstrates a particular professional interest in the field of orthopaedics, sports medicine and manual therapy. He has completed his Level 1 Manual Therapy course with the AQPMO and will continue to pursue his studies in the field throughout the upcoming years. Moreover, Anthony has recently obtained his certificate of manipulation for peripheral joints with the OPPQ in 2016. Lastly, Anthony has worked as a Sports First Responder since August 2014, covering games for amateur football, soccer and hockey teams in Montreal.
During his studies at McGill University, Anthony also conducted research examining the relationship between knee osteoarthritis and walking biomechanics. He has presented this research at both provincial and national conferences, and recently published his first article with two co-authors in July 2016.
Outside of the clinic, Anthony enjoys jogging, working out at the gym, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.
