Performance Enhancement & Wellness consultant
Angela Malorni graduated from Concordia University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Honours Psychology. While completing her honours thesis, she co-authored an article which was published in Educational and Psychological Measurement. Her interest in sport, physical activity, and health led her to complete a Master’s degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in intervention and consultation, at the University of Ottawa in 2010. She completed her Master’s internship at Cirque du Soleil working with the artists and coaches there. She has worked with sport teams and individual athletes facilitating mental skills workshops, relaxation workshops, as well as individual consulting sessions.
She works with individuals and teams in sport and other performance domains (arts, business, education, etc.) who are seeking to work through personal challenges in performance and life (goals, motivation, stress, performance anxiety, focus, interpersonal issues, balance, obstacles, injuries, etc.).
She is also a member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA). Her own sport background is in synchronized figure skating where she competed at a national and international level. She now continues to skate for fun and has found a new passion in coaching skating. When she is not on the ice, she likes to keep moving by doing yoga, dance, jogging, skiing, to name a few.
