Alessandra Gutta graduated from University of Ottawa in May 2014 with a bachelor in science, specializing in Human Kinetics. She then pursued her studies at Kiné Concept in Montreal. In June 2015, after completing her certification in Kinetic Swedish Massage, she began working as a massage therapist.
With a new-found interest and love for her job, Alessandra wanted to further her knowledge in soft tissue management. She completed complementary courses, learning different tools and techniques: chair massage, deep tissue massage, fascia therapy levels 1 and 2, sports massage, as well as Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) spine level 1 and upper extremity. Her passion for learning and her desire to help patients overcome the obstacles that prevent them from getting back to their daily activities is Alessandra’s greatest motivation. In September 2016, Alessandra began her studies in Osteopathy at Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques.
Alessandra joined the Action Sport Physio team as an assistant and receptionist in August 2014, and since July 2015, has been working as a massage therapist. Apart from the clinical setting, Alessandra also enjoys working on-site of sporting events and in office settings. To further her ability to manage injuries on-field, Alessandra has completed a Sports First Responder course and an athletic taping course.
No matter the reason of consultation, Alessandra will greet you with a warm smile and a positive energy. She has one goal in mind: meet her client’s needs and ensure their satisfaction.
