Training on Concussion Management
On the weekend of February 20th and 21st, more than thirty professionals from Action Sport Physio attended a course called Complete Concussion Management. This training gave these therapists the opportunity to learn how to better manage concussions, avoid post-concussion syndrome and gave them several tips to help people suffering from symptoms for more than 30 days.
This course lived up to its name! We now have a good method to fully manage concussions, from the field to a full recovery!
Read the article in The Gazette on the subject.
Something New in our Logo
Have you noticed something different about our logo? In order to better illustrate the evolution and variety of our services, it is no longer “Sports Medicine” that appears under our name in the Action Sport Physio logo, but rather “Health and Wellness” from now on.
Partnership with Soccer Placement
We are happy to announce a new partnership with Soccer Placement. Through this sponsorship, Action Sport Physio will insure the safety of the athletes as they play in events organized by Soccer Placement in 2016.
This company was established to allow a maximum of high-level soccer players, between 16 and 20 years of age, to start a career in the US, Quebec and European markets.
Every year, either through its "showcase" in Quebec or the participation of its players in training courses and European tournaments (teams of 13-16 year old players), Soccer Placement offers these young players visibility and direct contact with coaches from American and Québec universities and European partners.
Partnership with Georges St-Pierre
Action Sport Physio is proud to partner with George St-Pierre as part of a fundraiser to help the athletes of the Karate Team HAYABUSA-XPN, who must pay for their own expenses (coaches, equipment, entry fees, competing and travelling expenses).
The cocktail party, picture taking and signing session, and George St-Pierre’s conference will take place next Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. at the Fogo restaurant in Boisbriand. Tickets are usually available at a cost of $500 each, but we offer you an exclusive 2 for 1 deal. To benefit from this deal, contact Anne Bégin at 514-238-9111.
